Message	wiring harness under normal Z32 conditions for at least 100k miles and/or 10 years. If you replace your harness every 100k/10yrs, you don't need to move it IMO.. The change is very logical, I did it previously. I didn't do it with the last round of maintenance activity on my TT which included installing new turbo's, o2's and engine wiring harness. It's a good change for show but not needed for functional improvements and/or reliability IMO. In addition, moving the PTU to that location will make it more susceptible to water and malfunctioning, so one could argue the pros vs. cons in either direction. Gary
